Try removing the SD card from the slot and reinserting it. If that doesn’t work, take the SD card to a computer and format if you absolutely have to. This will erase all data on the card.

when i try to play games on sd card menu it says cant launch on this system.then i go to the data palce and try to move the data to the wii from the sd card but it wont let me.plz help

The games are downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel. You have an option to save them to your Wii memory or save them to the SD card.

Don’t worry, everyone here has a 2GB SD card that they wished was a lot larger. That regular SD will have other uses, I’m sure.

My parents bought me an SDHC memory card for christmas to use with my Wii not knowing that memory card didn’t work at the time. I bought a new SD Card that worked and then I got this update right after, making the old memory card work. My life is full of Ironic events.
